Making your own blindfold
- The prompt box opens with
blindfold, cinematic light, ultra detailed, 18+in it. Rewrite as much of that line as you like - the wording is a starting point, not a form. - Decide between a still and a clip. Stills come back in seconds; a clip takes about a minute and runs a few seconds, which is the length the motion model was trained on.
- Attach a reference frame if the face or the body has to be a particular one. Leave it empty and both get invented.
- Keep the result private or put it in the gallery - neither costs extra.
Covering the eyes removes your best tool
Eyeline is how a still frame tells you where attention sits, and this theme deletes it. Everything the eyes were doing has to be reassigned: the chin points, an ear turns, the mouth opens slightly toward a sound. chin turned toward the door, lips parted gives the head an intention. Without something like it, a blindfolded figure reads as vacant rather than waiting, which is the flattest possible result. Hands finish what the eyes cannot, and fingers open, feeling for the edge of the table shows attention pointing somewhere.
Opacity has to be stated
The specific failure is a transparent blindfold: eyes drawn through the fabric, or lashes sitting on top of it. The engine wants to render a face and the band is in the way, so it compromises. Say it plainly: opaque black band across the eyes, no eyes visible. Add matte fabric, no shine, because satin picks up a highlight that starts to look like an eye. Ties knotted at the back are unreliable as well, the knot being behind the head where nothing renders, so let the band run off the sides of the frame or stop at the temples.
Direction without a gaze
head tilted, one ear forwardturns listening into a shape.eyebrows just visible below the edge of the bandkeeps the face expressive.a hand approaching from the left, not yet touchinggives the head something to aim at.- Mouth work carries the rest: parted lips, tight jaw, teeth on the lower lip.
Against a bound request
Rope fails along its run and needs an anchor. A blindfold is one flat shape in one place, so it renders reliably as soon as you insist on opacity. The two are often asked for together, and that is where hands go wrong: with the eyes covered and the wrists wrapped, the engine has two objects and four limbs to keep straight. Ask for one of them per frame. Both figures are adults in a scene with agreed limits, and the calm of a covered face suits that. For motion, a hand arriving at the cheek is one continuous action and works well, because covered eyes cannot drift the way open ones do between frames. Keep the band in an identical position in the starting frame, since a shifted band mid-clip reads as a mistake rather than as movement.
